Originally from Philadephia, Jonah is the proud of son of two rabbis who chose to pursue a career in broadcast journalism instead of the family business. What he soon discovered, however, is that both vocations require their leaders to communicate, educate, engage, enlighten, inform and inspire the communities they serve.

For more than 20 years, Jonah has done that and more, earning national recognition for his work and leadership both on-camera and behind the scenes.

Outside the newsroom, you can find Jonah still cheering on his hometown Philadelphia sports teams, playing tennis and ice hockey, or chanting and song leading with his guitar at area synagogues. He and his wife are the proud parents to three daughters.
